Christmas message?
On Christmas Eve the Modernist Bishop of Hong Kong gave his Christmas message. It was mostly about hope and helping each other. The “Son of God” was only mentioned once and after that no other mention of the faith.
We are disappointed but not really surprised. What else can you expect from someone whom the Communists installed? For the true meaning of Christmas is opposite to the message of Communists. And they don’t want that.
The message of Christmas isn’t about hope or helping others (which of themselves are good). It is about God, the promise of a Redeemer, and of the Holy Family.
These are what Christmas is about. Hope and helping others may give you moments of feeling good about yourself. But faith in God, using the Holy Family as a model to live by, faith in the Church God established, and a life of prayer and penance is what Christmas is about.
These will last a lifetime and will aid you when you are called to Judgment.
