National Security?
With a new year, Hong Kong is trying to pass its own version of national security and we are gravely concerned about it.
In the draft version, Hong Kong mentions several rights with which people here are supposed to be entitled to. Yet, while they mention things like speech and association they never mention religion. We don’t know why they don’t. But they also mention that these rights only go so far (we supposed to whatever Hong Kong government agrees with various actions).
However, the rights of God and His Church are never limited. They are the foundation in which people are supposed to follow for not only the good of their neighbors but of their own salvation. But Communists often fear God and His Church and seek to persecute it. We suspect they may be planning to do the same in Hong Kong. We don’t know but are watchful.
For those government officials who suppose this new national security they must know that one day they will die and stand before God for how they enforced this new law. Especially, for those “catholics” who support and enforce the laws to the detriment of their fellow man.
