Feast of St. Luke

Today (18 October) is the Feast of St. Luke. One of the writers of one of the books of the Bible. He was not an original Apostle. Instead, he was a follower of St. Peter and was inspired to write down what he heard. He might have seen some of the events he wrote about but there is no mention of that.

In Hong Kong (as well as the rest of China) one should be hearing the gospel instead of violence or trying to hold onto power which was given by God and can be taken away by God.

In China, they have arrested two American English teachers for what appears to be false charges. The arrests seem to be in relation to the US passing the Hong Kong bill (and waiting for it to be signed into law) as well as the US arresting a Chinese official for visa violations.

China may do whatever it wants but if they do arrest people (American or Chinese or anyone else) under false pretext then one day God will demand judgment for those who ordered the arrests (or other problems). It will be only then that they will see their folly.

The Chinese are so afraid of the truth that they try to suppress the Gospel. However, the more they suppress the more it will be heard.
