No justice?

A Hong Kong independent newspaper recently wrote an article suggesting that the reason that the protesters have increased the level of violence is because there has been no justice since the start of the protests.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. Because the level of violence has nothing to do with how much “justice” has been seen in the eyes of the protesters. The level of violence has increased simply because the protesters want to increase it. Nothing more; nothing less.

During the course of history, it has been shown that the level of violence has nothing to do with the level of justice. In fact, in the United States during the 1960s a number of peaceful protests occurred that resulted in change and justice for the protesters.

Also, during the 20th century the use of the Rosary to conduct change has been proven effective. These Rosary crusades brought 1000s of people together to say the Rosary and over time change was done. In all of those Rosary marches and prayers, violence was not seen but great change took place.

Therefore, to say that the level of justice is equal to the level of violence is stupid. Justice and non-violence can be achieved if only people wanted it. It seems they do not.
