Laetare Sunday

Laetare means Rejoice. This is the Fourth Sunday of Lent and here the Church gives us a slight rest. For we will soon rise with Christ through confession and Easter Communion.
What is there to rejoice about? You are still alive and are reading this. Covid-19 crisis will not last forever. And if we are many of those that survive we should rejoice and pray for those who did not survive.
For confession and communion…While it is nearly impossible to see a press for confession you can make a spiritual communion both daily and at Easter.
Rejoice for the Lord will rise again.
