Easter

The main message of Easter is clear: Christ is indeed God and has the power over death. It is the message that most people take from Easter and that seems to make them happy (as well as it should).

However, there are many other lessons that Easter tries to teach every one of us. For example, Mary Magdala went to the tomb and found it empty. Jesus (she did not know it was Him) asked why she was said and she replied: Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid Him.

One can only imagine the shock and sadness of Mary when she found the tomb was empty. She didn’t know what to do or what to say. She, like hopefully, most of us would be left in despair of the horrors that someone would try to move Christ.

Yet, when Christ asked her why she was sad she also answered with great hope. She didn’t know where they have moved Christ but she was determined to find Him. She didn’t care what obstacles were in her way but she was going to find Him even if it was the last thing she did.

How many of us can say the same thing? How many will look for Christ no matter what obstacles are put in our path? It is something we should all think about.

We wish you a blessed and grace-filled Easter.
