Hong Kong’s National Security Law
With HK’s new National security law it appears religion is under attack. Article 4 of the new law states rights “protected and respected” include the freedoms of speech, of the press, of publication, of association, of assembly, of procession and of demonstration. It does not mention religion.
Hong Kong’s Basic Law mentions the protection of religious freedoms but the new law does not. Since the new law was written by China it supersedes any law written by Hong Kong.
One could argue that association and assembly could include religion but when dealing with China it is best not to assume anything. Especially with the history of Communist China’s infamous re-interpretation of various laws that suit the leadership at that time.
Religion is the best hope for mankind. Without religion, there is no hope and with no hope, there is no future. Only slavery to Communism and its ilk.
The only true religion is the One, Holy, Universal, and Apostolic Church. For there is nothing outside this faith will lead you to salvation.
