4 June
4 June is the anniversary of Tiananmen Square and the usual remembrances in Hong Kong have been banned under National Security and Covid laws. One of the biggest supporters of this remembrance is the Modernist catholic church. Every 4 June they hold a Mass to remember it.
Why Modernist catholics feel the need to mix religion and social issues is a question that we will never understand. There is enough to do (like saving your soul) than protesting nuclear weapons or something.
This is one of the many reasons why Modernist catholics are activists for social issues rather than religious ones. This 4 June is the Vigil of Pentecost. The Modernist church could celebrate Mass for this. Instead, they will be shut down and closed. A pity that they have no faith in the true Church.
