Constitution Day
Recently Hong Kong held a Constitution Day event. This event we suppose is to celebrate China’s constitution because Hong Kong doesn’t have one.
In any event, Luo Huining, the head of China’s Liaison Office to Hong Kong said that the Chinese Communist Party’s leadership status is the “choice of history and the people” and is enshrined in the constitution. It may be enshrined in their constitution but it doesn’t mean that it is the choice of history or the people.
For the people, it isn’t a choice but something that they must live with. Yes, their Constitution states there are freedoms of speech and religion. But those ideas are being suppressed by the leadership. Given a choice people may want to live with communism or they may not. We suspect they would rather deal with another system that gives them more of a choice than the current system now.
Religion is either being blocked by the leaders or greatly changed. This makes the people less likely to believe in God and His church. People need to believe in God or there isn’t much else in life for them. They only work and live for the state.
Once they are dead, they will face God for their judgment. We can only guess that it will go poorly for most of them. But for their leaders, it will be much worse as they will have to answer for denying the knowledge of God to their own people.
As for history….yes, the communists are in power now. But will they last? The answer is probably not. For the day of the Final Judgment, all will know the power of God. Then all will know the truth and be converted but it will be too late for the communist leaders.
We also know that Russia will be converted to the true faith. Will China? We don’t know but we can only hope and pray that at the time Russia converts then enough pressure will force China to convert as well.
Communism is only the choice of the leaders. It is not the choice of God when those ideas suppress the knowledge of the truth.
