Gates of Hell #2

As we write this it is the third day of violent protests. The first day saw several people either getting shot or burned.

The second day was a brief rest as clashes occurred in different parts of the city. One of the more violent clashes was at one of the universities. The night ended in a stalemate with both sides expecting more action in the morning.

Today is the third day and standoff at the university still continues. Also, much public transportations is shut down and those that are actually running are over-whelmed by the number of people who want to use them. Many people have given up trying to get anywhere and have returned home.

The Education Bureau, like the rest of the government, refuses to see any problem with the protests and will not close down schools. They say it is up to the schools to decide for themselves on what they want to do. We suppose they only care about opened schools and if staff or students get injured it won’t be the Education Bureau’s fault.

But it appears the Gates of Hell have been unlocked as the violence continues greater than it has been since the beginning. We can only wait and fear what will exit from the gates when it happens.
