Lent
It has been a while since we have posted here. We have updated our Facebook page often so you can you look there and see what you might have missed.
Since Christmas, many things have happened in Hong Kong. Notably the ending of most of Covid restrictions and the opening up to China. We shall not say much about the ending of the restrictions except to say that we hope will be a good thing. We watch and hope that it is. But we do have our doubts.
Now that it is Lent; it is a time of spiritual preparation for Easter. Some will have an easy Lent and others will have a harder one. In either case, it is time to get ready for Easter.
For Hong Kong, we hope that this Lent will be a time of spiritual renewal for the government and the people. However, we doubt that the government will even notice it is Lent and continue to do the calling of Communist China. If so, then we can see the justice of God punishing Hong Kong for their obedience to the government and to China. We fear that it will not end well for the people.
If they Communists of China wishes to destroy the will of the Hong Kong people then those leaders will have much to answer for upon their own call to Judgment.
We pray that this Lent, the Blood of our Savior will be a redeeming salve for Hong Kong and that their own eyes will awaken to the destruction they have caused.
