October
For the People’s Republic of China the month of October is to be remembered as the founding of Communist China (1 October). While there is nothing wrong with a country celebrating its founding we are opposed to Communism in any form or place.
October is the month dedicated to the Rosary and we hope that people around the world will take their rosary and pray with it for world peace. Especially, in these difficult times around the world.
It is the rosary that has led Christian armies to victory and has also caused the common people to defeat oppression in their own homeland.
On 7 October 1571- Christian forces fought Muslim forces at the Battle of Lepanto. Pope Pius V was at work when he suddenly rose from his chair, looked out the window towards Heaven and said: “We must no longer talk of business; what we have now is to do is to thank God for the brilliant victory He has just granted to the Christians.” In this honor, he instituted the feast of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose help he had fervently implored. Pius V also inserted into her Litany the invocation “Help of Christians, pray for us.”
In Europe, St. Dominic was given the rosary by Our Lady and this helped to defeat the Albigensians. In more modern history when the Soviet army occupied parts of Europe it was the people who prayed the rosary and the Soviets exited those countries.
With war in the Middle East, and China cracking down on those who oppose her, it is time to say the rosary again for world peace and the conversion of the world.
If it has been a long time since you’ve said your rosary it is time to find it, dust it off, and say it. Your Mother is waiting for you.
