Christ the King
25 October 2020 is the Feast day of Christ the King. Pope Leo XII said, “His empire includes not only Catholic nations, not only baptized persons who, though of right belonging to the Church, have been led astray by error, or have been cut off from her by schism, but also all those who are outside the Christian faith; so that truly the whole of mankind is subject to the power of Jesus Christ.”
However, with the rise of Communism and liberalism many people have been lead astray from this simple truth. In Hong Kong, as well as in China, this truth is clearly seen as governments embrace themselves and do all in their power to move people away from knowing the truth and only trust in those who are in power.
It is the duty of every Catholic to shout out that where Mary is Queen; Christ is king.
