The month of February marks the start of the Lenten season.

The Advent season tells the story of how God showed himself to the common people and not to the rich or powerful. He didn’t appear to the rich or powerful because it was the common person who would understand what was seen.

The season of Lent shows that God cared for everyone and was willing to die even for those who didn’t believe. This is one of the hardest things to understand, but we must believe it because it did happen.

The lesson to be learned is that even Communists, who do not believe in God, must believe in order for a chance to be saved. Every day, they get closer to dying, and up to that point, God is merciful to them and will aid them if they call upon His help. But many will not.

But when they die, they will stand before God, and His judgment, and then God will no longer be merciful…but filled with justice.

Pray for those who do not believe before it is too late for them.
